Buyer representation has become one of the most critical consumer issues and will grow more prevalent in the future. This course covers the proper techniques and practices of buyer representation that will enhance your bottom line, review agency relationships, negotiation strategies, explain the advantages of buyer representation from the buyer's, seller's, listing and selling broker's perspectives and identify sources of buyer clients. (Melanie McLane, instructor; 14 GRI & 12 Elective CE hours - 6 of which fulfill Elective part of new 8-hour CE requirement of Legacy Brokers)

Where do I find floodplain maps? My bank says I need Flood insurance, why? Has the cost of Flood insurance increased? REALTORS® who list or sell property in or adjacent to a floodplain area have lots of questions from their clients. Floods occur in every part of the state. They are the result of melting snow, severe rain storms, and rising water along lakes, rivers, levees and dams. Real estate professionals must be careful to give valid information and direct their client to the appropriate professionals to answer detailed questions. Our panel will be leading Indiana floodplain experts from around the state.
